Local Repairs and Upgrades
Garage Door Service Across Rancho Cordova
From spring replacement and TorqueMaster conversions to opener installation, track alignment and weather sealing, we match the repair to the complete door system.
Broken Garage Door Spring Replacement
Garage door springs support most of the door's weight. When a spring breaks or loses tension, the door can become extremely heavy, open unevenly or place excessive strain on the opener.
We install properly measured, high-cycle replacement springs selected for the weight and height of your garage door. After replacing the springs, we balance the door and inspect the cables, drums, rollers, bearings, tracks and opener.
Wayne Dalton TorqueMaster-to-Torsion Conversions
Some Wayne Dalton garage doors use a TorqueMaster spring system enclosed inside a tube. When the internal spring breaks, the damage may not be immediately visible. The door may simply become heavy, uneven or difficult for the opener to lift.
During a Rancho Cordova project, we removed a failed Wayne Dalton TorqueMaster system and converted the door to a traditional torsion-spring system. The conversion restored proper balance and made the spring system easier to inspect and service.
A complete conversion may include:
- Properly measured torsion springs
- New torsion tube
- End-bearing plates
- Cable drums
- Lift cables
- Center bearing and mounting hardware
We inspect the door and existing hardware before determining whether a conversion is appropriate.

Quiet Garage Door Repair and Tune-Ups
Grinding, popping, rattling or squeaking can indicate worn rollers, dry bearings, loose hardware, track-alignment problems or an improperly balanced spring system.
Our garage door tune-up includes an inspection of the:
- Springs and spring balance
- Cables and drums
- Rollers and hinges
- Tracks and mounting points
- Bearings and supporting hardware
- Opener and safety sensors
- Bottom and perimeter seals
When appropriate, we can install lifetime nylon rollers to reduce noise and resistance while improving movement through the tracks.
Track Alignment and Replacement
Bent, loose or misaligned tracks can cause the rollers to bind, scrape or leave the track. Continuing to operate the door may damage the sections, cables and supporting hardware.
We inspect the vertical and horizontal tracks, mounting brackets and surrounding framing. Depending on the condition of the system, we may realign the existing tracks, reinforce the mounting points or install replacement tracks.
Garage Door Service for Newer Homes
Newer homes in communities such as Anatolia and Sunridge Park may still have builder-grade springs, rollers, hinges or openers. A relatively new garage door can become noisy or difficult to operate if it was not properly balanced during its original installation.
Our Safety Check evaluates the complete system and identifies components that may be wearing prematurely.
Bottom Rubber and Weather-Seal Replacement
Rancho Cordova's summer heat can cause older rubber seals to shrink, crack and harden. Damaged weather seals may allow dust, insects, leaves, rainwater and outside air to enter the garage.
We replace bottom rubber and perimeter weather seals. Before installing the new seal, we inspect the bottom section, track alignment and floor contact to determine whether adjustments are needed.
